Evelyn: I was inclined a few weeks back to do some painting and finally decorated a piece of pottery I have had for as long as I have had my kidlet. It was nice to put some creative energy into something structured, something I didn't have to think a lot about, but could simply dabble and decorate. It hangs on our fence door, and greets me on the way out, right in line with the rising sun and moon.
Monica: Of course I didn't take enough pictures of Wilbur while it was light out yesterday and today we awoke to a steady rain. We had planned to go hiking on the nature preserve but hadn't planned for rain, so our hike turned into a brief walk through the valley in between downpours. It was still lovely, though.
