Today was the funeral for someone who I regarded with admiration and enthusiasm, for the uniqueness of his spirit, his unending interest and respect, and his brilliance. It was hard to witness the depth of grief his family expressed. I lit a candle and asked the universe to fill their hearts with healing and help ease their pain... but I know that will take time.
