Yesterday, it was the little flower emerging from a puddle, its head just above water. This morning, it was the tiny seedling that had sprouted from the carpet in Elmo, the 1964 GMC pickup we use to haul things to the dump. The truck is old and leaky and it has been raining quite a bit. Elmo is quite literally fostering life!
